Williams mahogany banjo, almost identical to the Kenny Ingram model. In fact, the inside of the resonator is signed by Kenny Ingram. As I understand it, the Floorsweep model was created after the run of KI models was completed. The neck, resonator, and rim were probably destined for another KI banjo, had the production of that model continued. I find the Blaylock ring the perfect compliment to the rest of these high quality components. Yes, I've also had a KI model with the higher priced ring.

This banjo has the same Arthur Hatfield neck, Steve Gill resonator, Old Factory Floor rim (FQMS) as the original KI models. The only difference it that this banjo has an unplated, 20 hole Bill Blaylock ring. Five matching Gotoh tuners provide for very smooth tuning.

The overall condition of the banjo is excellent. I've attempted to show any blemishes in the photos. The few blemishes are incidental and almost impossible for me to capture. The resonator has some temperature change lacquer shrinkage cracks, that I've tried to show, but they are not apparent in the photos.

The sound and ease of playing are remarkable. The components are top shelf and the workmanship, fit and finish are first rate. This is a stage-worthy professional banjo in every respect.

Includes a like new hardshell case.
