My grandfatherís other banjo, serial no. 5030, c. 1918; drum head is 11"; neck is 13 3/8".
Itís clearly seen better days and is nowhere near as nice as his 1926 Gibson tenor but it must have been quite a looker in its day.
The drum head is shot; peg head is separated from the neck; the nut is missing, as are small pieces of inlay on head and fingerboard; one bracket and the bridge are missing; no case.
I donít know enough about banjos to know if this oneís a candidate for restoration or for parts only so Iím hoping the good people of Banjo Hangout might shed some light.
$100 or best offer; buyer pays shipping and insurance.
