In generally very good condition-the neck is nice and straight, the frets almost unused, the chrome hardware all shiney, (ooh boy o boy, an 11" pre-EPA head), and no cracks or dings in the wood parts (except at the end of the dowel stick- as shown). But, the MOTS needs some help. The peghead overlay is easy; the edge of the resonator will be a problem, as shown. A good answer for that would be to play it openback. That way, one would have a nice 50-year-old banjo for less than most cheapys. Included is what is possibly the original chipboard case also in very good condition and cool looking.
