1890s Tremont 5 string open back banjo. This banjo was missing 18 of its 38 hooks when I found it,but 20 is plenty to hold the head tight. I did replace the hide head that was on it originally with one in much better shape. Though the banjo could be a regular player,I'm selling it as a project. The dowel stick needs to be reset to get the action down. The home made 5th peg holds its tune surprisingly well, but I'll throw in a geared 5th tuner. I also have all but two of the shoes to be included,if you should want to use all 38 hooks. I guess shipping would be $30 in the continental US.
I would trade for an F style mandolin, perhaps a A style as well.Maybe an old fiddle in playable condition.
