Very nice Orpheum that started as a plectrum. The original neck is slightly twisted but still playable and is included in the sale.
This early 1900 Orpheum banjo is in great structural shape. No cracks, no delamination, no bruises and the bird eyes maple veneer is also in great shape. The original shoes, tone ring, nuts, hooks, tension hoop are also in very good condition. There are 6 replacement hooks and 2 nuts that are from another Orpheum banjo of the same era and you need to look closely to see the difference.
