This instrument must have been under someones bed for many decades. It is a stunning example of this model. It appears to have the original skin head. Gorgeous inlays and carvings, sharp and all intact. Unusual and rare cam tailpiece. The nut and bridge are new. This banjo was just set up by Fretworks in Portland, Or. Neck is straight and frets dressed. New Levi strap. Old armrest works well- don't know if original. Case is in incredible condition for almost 100 years old. Someone made mute blocks for it which are in storage compartment. I added padding to case which is removable. This banjo sounds so nice. The tuners are original friction. One hook & nut needs to be replaced with something more original. note: wide view includes different bridge than one included.
