I purchased this beautiful banjo brand new in March 2026 from Turtle Hill Banjos. It is virtually still brand new and has never left my music room. It is in absolutely perfect condition and has a wonderful sound. I have decided, however, since I already have 3 other banjos and I do not play that much anymore that I should let it go to someone who can really play and enjoy it as intended. It is maple and has the hybrid tone ring. Playing without the fifth string peg in the way is great! The tone ring makes the banjo a little lighter and has really good tone, volume, and clarity. This is a great deal for a banjo like brand new.
