1935 Gibson tb11 conversion. This banjo has all the original hardware. Very little pull on the flange, zero breaks . Hooks nuts tension hoop, arm rest are all original. Original neck, tuners, window pane tail piece, head, bridge tone hoop and case .The old tenor case is in bad shape . The original Joseph Rogers head has the date 7-22-35 and destination shipped written in the inside .This banjo comes with 3 different necks. Number 1 is the original tenor neck. Neck number 2 was supposedly cut from a 1949 blank from the Gibson company. I cannot confirm nor deny that statement that is the way I purchased the banjo though. Neck 2 has the original tuners and over lay on the peg head that was taken off the tenor . Neck 2 the heel had been damaged and was broken on delivery . It has been doweled and glued, but it is really for decoration. I wouldn’t trust it on a banjo for long .Neck 3 is a Clancy Mullins maple neck that is currently on the banjo. I will change out TR cover to a black one . The banjo has a Blaylock Osborne Chief 30 hole tone ring in it and it is Sweet to play and hear . This banjo has everything you want . It comes with a new TKL American vintage series case . Strap not included . I would be interested in a trade for the right Gibson Granada with boot coming either way. I would prefer not to ship but would be willing to to drive 2 hours any direction to meet in person. Reach out through hangout feel free to call and ask any questions you have.
