For Sale: 1964 Vega "Professional" (not Pro II) 5-String Banjo w/OHC

Here's another from my Vega 'Tubby' collection: This Vega "Professional" is similar to the "Scruggs" model except it has round holes in the Tubaphone ring. The tailpiece has been changed and a sliding 5th string capo installed, why that original Grover 5th peg wasn't changed. I don't know. You can see the strap wear to the finish by the heel, and there is wear to the frets although it plays well with low action. The resonator looks great especially with the red plastoid sides. I'll answer any questions you may have about this banjo.

Oh, yes. The original hard case has that nifty 'gator' texture and the handle in a wrist wrecking position.
