2019 Deering Sierra! I played and loved this banjo for a few good years. Tone jumps straight out of the pot — a strong brassy low end and then very clear in the high registers. The Sierra is Deering’s flagship model, and the value for money these fetch — especially used — is hard to beat in the banjo world. Features a 3 ply violin-grade rim, Deering’s 06 20-hole bell bronze tone ring, and the signature Deering flange. Spikes at 7,8, and 9. Comes with Snuffy Smith 5/8 bridge. Case is missing a handle (:o)
