This is a powerful, bluegrass-ready banjo with strong projection, crisp highs, and a solid low end. It has been professionally set up by me and is dialed in to play comfortably up the neck with great action and response. It’s gig-ready as it sits.

Condition Notes (Please Read):
The only issue is cosmetic and minor functional regarding the 5th-string spikes. A previous spike installation was not done very cleanly. The spikes were removed, leaving small holes in the fretboard where they used to be. This does NOT affect playability at all. You simply can’t use those spike positions until they’re reinstalled properly.
It will need new railroad spikes installed if you want capo positions up the neck, but that’s a simple and inexpensive fix for any competent luthier.
Otherwise, the banjo sounds great, plays great, and is structurally solid.
