This banjo has a Frank Neat neck, highly figured curly maple, with amber buttons on modern tuners. The original flange failed at some point (a common occurrence), and was replaced with a pre war flange that was antique gold plated by Steve Huber. The rim was also cut by Steve Huber, and a gold plated HR 30 tone ring was fitted. The rest of the hardware on the pot is original, including the brass E2 tension hoop. The original tailpiece is in perfect working order, as well. The resonator has not been refinished, and shows no signs of an overspray. This banjo has been well taken care of! There is more information about this banjo on Greg Earnest's website. It had an earlier Frank Neat speed neck and the original flange, when it was posted there. I have too many banjos at this point, and this banjo deserves a home where it will get more playing time. No trades, please. thank you for looking.
