This is a truly special Banjo I bought here on the hangout built by the late Ken LeVan.
It is Walnut, built from reclaimed wood from a structure that was at least 100 years old.
12" Pot, sliiiightly shorter scale than standard. Every piece of the banjo save the tuners is handmade. Currently has shiny gold Gotoh tuners but I'm putting back on the antiqued (five star, I think?) original tuners before it ships out.
It sounds and plays awesome and is a real work of art. Hate to potentially let it go but I have to free up some cash and make some space in my home.
