Kasuga RB-400 banjo made in Japan in the 70s/80s. The banjo is a Gibson RB-100 copy with a mahogany neck and one-piece flange. The peghead has a bowtie shape and the resonator has the typical sunburst finish. It is a hoop banjo, which like its Gibson equivalents can still be powerful.
There are some age-related marks such as patina on the metal parts and a few small scratches in the finish (neck from capo), but these do not affect the overall appearance.
The banjo has been cleaned and restored, the saddle and a new bridge have been adjusted for optimal string action, the skin has been tuned, and strings have been fitted. With original hardcase and accessories.
If you are interested in an affordable intermediate level instrument or are looking for a slightly lighter second instrument, this is the one for you.
