For Sale: 2011 Bishline Custom Quilted Maple with Tunneled 5th string

This is a Banjo you must see to believe! I have owned many Banjos over the last 50 years, and this is unquestionably the most beautiful.

Mint Condition. I honestly can't find a flaw on this banjo - no scratches, or dings. It does not look like it has been played very much since it was built in 2011. There is no noticeable fret wear on it. I would honestly say it is in mint condition.

This is an absolutely magnificent example of artistic creation combined with excellence in tone and playability as with Rob Bishline’s other banjos. This banjo is quilted maple with nickel hardware with the exception of the chrome-plated heavy aluminum flange made locally. The hand-inlaid pearl is beautiful and creates a super nice fretboard. The resonator is carved with bracing which is lighter weight than ply construction. Almost-new Waverly tuners were just installed. Special Aztec bridge, and no-hole tone ring on a 3-ply maple rim. Hard case in very good condition is included.

I added some rose colored dots to the inlay because I couldn't find myself around on the fingerboard without them!

It is also very light compared to other banjos - slightly under 10 pounds.

This banjo built today would run well over over $7k.

Comes in a hardshell case in good condition.
