1926 Style 5 conversion. 8444-4. Clancy Mullins neck, Huber custom full weight HR 30 tone ring engraved by Nick Kimmons on the uncut rim. I believe the same type tone ring that Ron Block has in his 1925 Granada.
I bought this banjo as a TB from Elderly Instruments, and converted it to its current configuration as a 5 string flathead. The pot is 100% original, and about as clean as you will find on a banjo of this age. Included are the original tenor neck, ball bearing tone ring, hardware, and skirt.
This is a fine and powerful sounding banjo. The only reason I am selling it is that I simply have too many banjos, and don't get around to playing them all.
Strap not included. No trades, please.
Thank you for looking.
