This is an exceptionally nice Baldwin Style B (Mahogany) from the brief period when these banjos were being assembled in Boulder with Ode's Boulder made parts - including the most collectable rim - 5 ply with the 3 digit serial number.
Everything on this banjo is as it was in 1965-66, with the exception of a 5 Star geared 5th string tuner, the Remo head and the strings. It comes in its original Lifton hardshell case, in excellent condition as the banjo. This banjo has its original frets and there is virtually no wear on the banjo whatsoever. There are well filled holes from a sliding 5th string capo.
I am handling the sale of this banjo for my buddy Myron (keeper of the Baldwin flame, creator of the I am a Baldwin Banjo Picker buttons, the Style C and much else). I have the banjo in hand and can answer any questions or relay them to Myron.
