This is a beautiful 11 inches hard maple spun over rim with a Black walnut 25 1/2 inches scale neck
All original hardware including tailpiece and tuners.
Original neck with new ebony fingerboard and the original inlays and re finished with linseed oil and wax.
New ebony headstock veneer with the original inlays.
( Both fingerboard and headstock were falling apart like many banjos from 125 years ago.)
Reset neck for great playability.
New calfskin head.
11/16 inch maple and ebony bridge. Strung with medium tension Nylgut strings.
The neck is strong enough for light steel strings.
Ready for another century of music.
Gig bag included.
