At the time of manufacturer this was the top of the line OME. I have been told only two were produced. One in silver and one in gold. This is the gold. I do not know if this is true so be sure to check. Banjo is Rosewood resonator, rim and neck. All wool is hand carved and very ornate. All metal has been hand engraved and gold plated. Banjo has been played only about three times as I usual play an OME black mogul. Beautiful banjo! But health is keeping from playing anymore
