For sale is my Ome curly maple banjo in good condition, it's actually in very good+ condition except that it has a heel repair that keeps the price low. Ome banjos have long been known to be high quality instruments and some of the best built in the community. This banjo has nearly no fret wear, all the metal is in great shape, and it's equipped with Rickard tuners including the 5th. It plays clean and clear up the neck and has a bottom D that other banjo players have commented on (in a good way). Included is a hard case in very good condition as well. The primary thing to know is that the previous owner (fellow BHO member) noticed that there was a crack starting in the heel. He did a great job to take care of it by gluing and inserting a dowel as seen in the pics. If one of my other banjos (to come) sells first, then I plan to keep it because of the ease of playing, great tone, and neck profile. I know what the serial number is but I'm not sure of the year because it's difficult to get to with the change in ownership.
Thanks for looking and feel free to ask questions. No trades at this time.
