For Sale: Dean Backwoods 2 Pro

Bought new in February of 2024 and played a handful of times. Just can’t find the time to play these days.

Great sounding banjo that performed well in a live setting. Will throw in a gold tone bridge mute and thumb picks.

The Pro is essentially the standard Backwoods 2, enhanced with:
1. Extra frets: 22 frets instead of 21
2. New brass tone ring: Improves brightness and projection
3. Thicker pan: Boosts resonance and adds sustain
4. Refined electronics: Same DMT neck humbucker but “tweaked” for better live performance and sound clarity
5. Fretboard: Black walnut instead of rosewood
