For Sale: 1988 Gibson RB-Granada "Greg Rich Era" Time Capsule - w/Video

The Granada has remained the "Hollywood banjo" to this day. The Gibson RB-Granada was re-issued in late 1987 under the direction of Greg Rich at Gibson. This particular one is from June of the following year 1988. This Granada is all original except for the new head and strings. The curly maple neck and resonator are in fantastic condition for being 37 years old. The tone ring is a "B-batch" Kulesh Sr #107 with the A.F.P. logo underneath. The rim/ring fit was a bit tight and it's now a slip fit along with a neck set from Huber Banjos. The "Rich Era" Granada is highly sought after especially these early ones. As you can see this Granada has not been played much and is housed in its original "Gibson USA" case with blue interior.
