This is a better than entry grade banjo at a reasonable price, ready for work or play.
I have owned the KK-11 pot assembly since early 1970s. The rim is solid although the original finish was stripped off as was the outside of the resonator and refinished with a clear coat. The original 1 piece flange which was warped and broken was replaced in about 1977 with some of the bracket hooks and nuts. (probably Stew-Mac). The brass rod "tone ring" is original.
The replacement neck was added around 2014.
