For Sale: Lange Solo Banjo Uke

You are looking at a very neat little instrument. I acquired a 1925 Lange Solo Banjo Uke many years ago.

I had a luthier friend of mine "Bruce Dowd" of Dowd Instruments change the 4 string Uke Banjo and make it a 5 String Banjo. What a masterpiece of work. It is just great

Nut width for 5 string is 1 1/8”.

when I acquired the instrument it had no case but I have it in a Washburn Mandolin Case that I will include with the sale.

The Lange Solo Banjo Uke was made by William Lange in 1925. It is listed in the Red Tsumura Banjo book on page 85 in the bottom left photo Banjo #8.

I have attached pictures of it shown in the book as well for your reference.
