11" Riley Baugus from 2019. Made from an old apple tree with a trunk at least 12" across. Cut and kiln dried then hung around 25+ years until Riley got a hold of it. He wasn't sure what kind of apple the tree was. This banjo is from the same tree that Riley's personal applewood banjo was made from. I played his banjo at American Banjo Camp and "well in fuv" as they say. A highly responsive banjo and tough to let go. But I am retiring and too many fine instruments. Its a close call this one is offered. It is one of those instruments that exposes everything you play. Its a monster! I'm too sloppy a player to get the most out of it. Nice inlay work. Fiberskyn head per Riley's spec.
Comes with OHSC, 4 in 1 tool. Original price $2500. Not sure you can still get this build from him.
