This Deering Crossfire from 1989 is in great condition for being 35 years old. This banjo was used by country music artist and Deering endorsing artist Ernie Welch for many live performances. The Crossfire features the alder solid body construction with black finish. The electronics are 2 EMG Magnetic internal pick-ups, a 3-position mini toggle type pick-up selector switch, 2 black control knobs, and nickel plated hardware. The curly maple neck has an adjustable truss rod with an ebony fretboard and Grover Mini-Rotomatic tuners. There a 5th string spikes installed and it ships in its Kevlar lightweight soft-side case.
