This is a nice1937 Gibson TB-1 banjo that was converted to a five string banjo with a neck made by a neck builder from the Winston-Salem area. The banjo metal and wood is in very good condition. The rim is uncut and supports the original 1/4" brass hoop. The OPF is flat. The finish has some patina as you would expect from a 90 year old banjo. I believe all metal and wood parts are original. I would also sell this w/o the 5 string neck.
