I'll do this ala Elderly listings. Excellent condition with all original hardware, clean and shiny double-spunover 12 1/4" pot, 28" scale, except needs neck heat to straighten warp, finish fret ends, needs new pegs, strings, and bridge. I don't recognize the wood used in the neck. It is not mahogany and has beautiful grain. Included is the end-opening case in repairable condition.
The heel is stamped "John Alvey Turner, 55 Bishopsgate St., London", so I think is was made around 1900.
I've owned this banjo since 2002 and have done nothing with it (I always expected to). The warp in the neck is the only serious repair need, the rest is easy and will make a very nice banjo for just a small cash outlay.
