This Johnson banjo is what I think to be a JB300. Very well made banjo with a decent tone ring and great feeling neck. This one came from my late friend, Mark Kuykendall. The fit of the tone ring and rim has been relieved to the proper fit. This is the main problem with these type banjos. The tone ring has to be pried off the rim and it's choked to the point that it kills the sound. This one no longer has that problem. It also sports the best setup which includes one of my old growth bridges and a Remo head.
It sounds great and is an incredible banjo for the money. No case is included.
