For Sale: Tedra Harmon Mountain Banjo (SOLD)

This is a really special, old and truly authentic mountain banjo made by Tedra Harmon in North Carolina. He was featured in the old foxfire books and was neighbors with Frank Proffitt. Banjo is made out of walnut and is in good playable shape. Sounds great and the hand carved friction tuners hold tune surprisingly well. To help authenticate the instrument a letter from makers wife which was sent with the banjo to the original owner will be included. In my opinion this is a functional and beautiful piece of American folk art.
