I’m reluctantly selling my 1954 RB-100. I bought it from Ron Stewart. It’s been my main banjo for many years and it’s been loved, but I’m playing another banjo most of the time these days so this one’s for sale. Sunburst straight grain maple skinned resonator and mahogany neck. It’s mostly original hardware except:

*Rim has been cut and it has a Huber tone ring.
*the original three screw resonator was converted to four screw by Randy Woods.
*Kershner style tailpiece
*modern geared fifty string tuner
*Waverly tuners
*newer head
*Huber bridge
This is a mash in B machine! Overall condition isn’t bad for its age. It has a few dings and scrapes but the geometry is good, the frets are good, and it plays good. Comes in a Cross Rock fiberglass case. Only trades that would interest me would be old Gold Stars. Thanks for looking!
