Original 1920’s Orpheum no 1. Five string examples are hard to come by. This one is in good condition and is a great player. All original, minus the tailpiece and tuners. The tuners have been replaced with abm small shaft tuners from Smakula. This banjo is currently strung with light gauge steel strings. Remo Renaissance head. Repro no knot tailpiece. Original hook and nut sets show oxidation and some discoloration. The dyed wood fretboard has a few minor surface cracks and dings. All original inlays are intact. Original frets show little to no wear. Beautiful bird eye maple veneer on pot. Pot measures around 11 1/2”. This is a tough banjo to part with, but I also own an original orpheum no 3 five string! Any questions please ask.
