Hey Folks,

I have a very cool and special banjo in on consignment. Bart Reiter is one of the most respected builders of open back banjos in the world and he built three banjos before he started putting serial numbers in them. This is one of the those original three banjos that Bart made. The owner told me that Bart didn't remember whether it was 1,2, or 3, but that it is in fact one of the first banjos he ever made.

The banjo itself is absolutely stunning and, after a fresh neck reset and set up by the great Will Seeders, is sounding amazing and playing beautifully.

The banjo has a mahogany neck with a beautiful heel carving. Set up with a slightly taller than 5/8ths bridge (though would do just fine with a 5/8ths bridge) and it has a brass hoop tonering.

Comes with a hardshell case.

The owner would like $2500 or best offer plus shipping.
