Up for sale is a gorgeous PB-4 with its original plectrum case (with key) which allows the 5 string to fit nicely.

This style 4 has 40 hole arch top with unmolested original pot, tailpiece was punched by Jerry Keyes and the chrome is impeccable with wear only showing on the arm rest. All specs catalog correct FON 9265-9 which is a batch of 11 per Spann serial numbers. Resonator mahogany that’s in excellent condition with a little buckle rash showing. Eric Sullivan made a gorgeous mahogany neck and fitted and finished exactly color match to resonator. It’s currently fitted to an 11/16” bridge with Rickard tuners and the set up is spot on.

The condition of this banjo is amazing and it sounds and plays beautifully with a tone that is expected from a prewar nearly a hundred years old. It has medium light strings on it but I prefer a medium/heavy string and I’ll include an extra set of strings so you can be the judge of what suits your ear better.

I tried to take detailed pictures but if you need additional pictures just let me know. This banjo needs absolutely nothing it looks amazing and sounds incredible.

The case is super solid but I’ve always kept in a Calton Case.

*’l’ll remove strap and D tuners when sold.**

I’ve shipped a lot of banjos over the years but I would be willing to drive a couple of hours to meet up so it doesn’t have to be shipped.

Thank you for looking and please call or text at 270-314-4791 anytime and I’ll answer any questions you might have.

Sincerely,
Breckley
