"This 1926 TB3 stands out as a fine example of a cohesive conversion.
Comes with Authentic Vintage components with the exception of a more current Prucha Presto tailpiece. The conversion was done in 1996. The Resonator and Pot share serial number FON #8527-36.
The maple Rim is a "FAT one" measuring .073 mm on the visible side and the flange and tension hoop show no signs of cracks or warpage. It showcases an exceptional setup, featuring a Vintage 1996 Huber 20-hole flathead ring and neck also meticulously crafted by Steve Huber. The instrument is set up with a speed neck made of Mahogany, radius ebony board, Grover Tuners, and spikes at standard intervals. This Banjo Holds strong in any jam. Its clean balanced note separation, Nice low end, power, and great tonal response, offer a wonderful playing experience. You don't have to lean into this one to pull out its tone.
