A great older Deering that can easily be converted to an open back banjo. The original finish was sanded off and the banjo was refinished with Mohawk semi gloss lacquer and rubbed with 0000 steel wool. The frets have been leveled and recrowned and polished. Truss rod works. Tuners are probably original and are in good condition. New Deering Kevlar head.
