This Chuck Lee Lone Star has a 12” rim, 26 hooks, 3" rim, and a 25 1/2" scale. It was built in 2006. It has a Rickard armrest installed but also comes with the original wire armrest. The tuners have been upgraded to Rickard tuners. The frets show a minimal wear. Depth of sound, warmth of tone, and effortless projection make this a wonderful instrument to play.
It has an integral tone ring. "Integral tone ring" is not necessarily hype for a wood rim without a separate tone ring. In this case, Chuck fashions the shape, extending a full 1" below the top of the rim, to enhance the sound and get just what he and many others prefer.
It comes with a TKL hardshell case as shown in the pictures.
