1967 Vega FW-5 Banjo in decent shape. Has some wear on the fretboard that doesn't affect playing and a chip in the binding between 14th and 15th fret. Also has a bit of play with the fit of the resonator but it doesn't affect the sound, probably a little felt would tighten that up. Also some wear in the finish on the back of the neck the second to sixth fret area from playing. It also has that shallow split in the bottom of the neck heal that old banjos get, it is not spreading though and there is no need to have it repaired. It has a very pretty cherry sunburst finish. I added a Gotoh fifth string tuner and a Gold Tone Vintage style tailpiece. Nice and lightweight for a resonator banjo at just a little over 8 pounds. A nice old Vega with a lot of years left in her, but I got too many banjos in the stall right now and I am an open back player.
