For Sale: 85 Deering deluxe ORIGINAL NO HOLE BELL BRONZE RING!!

This is the banjo that put Deering on the map. Their original bell bronze no hole is one of the greatest “modern” (if 40 years is modern) rings. This thing has tone for days. Pops like a machine gun at the bridge and woofs like a St. Bernard at the neck. Mahogany neck and reso. A little finish there was a 5th sliding capo that’s been removed and now there are spikes. Someone had put them too close to the frets originally, but they’re in properly now. This thing plays and sounds amazing. Had it at the ToneSlabs booth last month and jens Kruger was absolutely stunned.
