I’m offering up for sale or trade a Bruce Berry 11” walnut whyte laydie. This banjo has a rather powerful but tone with awesome projection and sustain.
Condition is good, the banjo has been played out quite a bit, and the raw brass had continued aging and gathering patina. This model is >$1,900 new, I’m listing it a little lower given the play wear and am open to offers.
Specs are as follows:
Walnut block rim
Ebony rim cap, fingerboard, and headstock overlay
26 1/8” scale
Rickard whyte laydie tone ring
Rickard raw antiqued brass hardware
Piagah eclipse bridge
For trades, I’m currently on the hunt for a George Dobson professional model, a ‘73 patent HC Dobson, or any EC or Chas. Dobson banjos. I also tend to like old NY jobber banjos with any interesting build characteristics, lol!
Please let me know if there are any questions, or if you would like a sound sample of the banjo.
