This banjo was made in collaboration with Pisgah Banjos' Patrick Heavner, who made the spunover rim and hardware for this project. All of the hardware I hand plated in copper and gave a patina to. The Black Walnut rim is spunover with copper which I also patinated. The neck is highly figured curly claro walnut with a center stripe of bloodwood. The fretboard is figured mesquite on top of bloodwood, bound in rosewood with a beautiful peony floral inlay of bloodwood, yellowheart, and green poplar.
25.5" scale, 11" pot, Dobson Tonering, Gotoh planetary and 5th string tuners, dyed goatskin head
