Decided to sell my beautiful vintage 1978 Ibanez Artist Tenor Banjo (crafted in Japan), as I just can't justify having it sit in its case without being played. I bought it from the original owner 6 years ago with the intention to mix it up a bit as a guitarist, but never really got the hang of it. There's not much of a banjo-scene here in Switzerland, so I thought I'd come to the experts to (hopefully) find a worthy new owner!
I'm not really an expert on banjos, but being a huge fan of 70s/80s Ibanez guitars, I sure know about the amazing quality they put out back then. The instrument looks and feels great and is in excellent condition, it hasn't been played a lot (the original owner was mainly a guitarist, too). There are some minor surface-scratches on the back and all of the metal parts are slightly tarnished, which I'd say is more than normal for an instrument of that age (even desirable).
- Body/neck: mahogany
- Fingerboard: ebony with beautiful mother-of-pearl inlays
- original case included (perfect condition)

Of course, local pickup would be preferred. But I'm willing to ship worldwide (at the expense of the buyer, contact me for shipping cost to your country).
