This open back banjo by Pisgah Banjos from the heart of the Appalachian mountains - Asheville, North Carolina is in super clean condition. Wonderful style and workmanship typical from Pisgah, the instrument is built from woods indigenous to the region; Persimmon fingerboard, tone ring, headstock overlay and heel cap, walnut rim and neck with beautiful appointments. The instrument is designed to be tuned in A with a 23-1/2" scale length and 12" diameter pot. The nut width is just a hair under 1-5/8" in width and the E to E string bridge spacing is 2-11/16". The banjo features a natural calf skin head, aged brass hardware, hardwood thinline arm rest, and vintage heel. It comes in an Access One Pisgah gig bag.
