These are very rare and very seldom come up for sale! This is an 1981 Liberty Quadrille banjo. Those of you familiar with these banjos know what a treat they are to play and what a good banjo they are. The craftsmanship on these banjos is unrivaled. Bob Flesher and Paul Morressey knew how to build a solid banjo. These are mahogany banjos with nickle plated hardware, exquisite inlay on an ebony fingerboard and the famed whale-tail flange. New remo head and sports a Hotspot bridge. You won't find any junk here.

This banjo is all original with the exception of the head and bridge. Every nut, bolt and screw is Liberty. The flathead 20 hole ring (these were based off Pete Kuykendall's prewar RB75), flange, armrest and Kershner tailpiece are all engraved with "Liberty". This banjo has been played and has a few signs of wear but it's solid and looks wonderful. Metal has patina you would expect for a banjo that's 36 years old but the plating is excellent. Comes with the original case. The handle is missing but I had my son weave a matching paracord handle for it. The 3-ply maple rim is solid!

Banjo has been setup and enhanced by Gene Elkins in Michigan. Tone ring is properly fit as is the neck fit to the pot. It barks and has wonderful tone! Plays smooth as butter. This is a rock solid banjo that takes a back seat to nothing.

I have added a link to a video of it. My picking does not do it justice.
