Up for sale I have a mint-condition Jason Mogi 5 string banjo that I purchased last year. It features a brass hoop tone ring mated to a 12" ebonized maple rim. The neck is made of mahogany and is topped with a scooped rosewood fingerboard. The neck measures 1-3/8" at the nut; the scale length is a comfortable 25-1/2". Brass hardware includes smooth-operating Gotoh planetary tuners. I have upgraded the pot with a John Balch 4-star goat skin head. As usual with Jasons' builds, it is an easy-playing, sweet-sounding banjo with a good low end. Also included is a nice Superior hardshell case.
