I completed building this banjo in November. It is a nice playing prototype for a line of banjos I'm currently building. A Superior Hard Shell Case is included. The price is not any indication of the sound and playability of this banjo. I really like and wish I could keep it. But need the money more than this banjo right now. There are some flaws in it, (Mostly the resonator), I will point out below. You can hear what it sounds like here youtube.com/watch?v=u33NAQuUMso and see the methods of contruction on my youtube channel, pzguitar. You'll see the same avitar I have here on the hangout. The bead that holds the flange is Brazilian Rosewood. Therefore I can only sell to US addresses

Tone Ring = Recording King no hole.
Rim and neck = Hard Maple. Both cut from the same turning square.
Finger Board and Heal Cap = Snakewood.
Nuts = Bone.
Bridge = Hard Maple w/ a Snakewood cap 9/16" tall.
Resonator = Mahogany w/ Walnut single binding.
Tuners = Gotoh w/ Tortoise color keys.
Scale = 26-3/8"
Inlay = Hard Maple.
Low action.
Finish = Tru-Oil open pore.

In the pictures, you'll see the three places I'm pointing to are the flaws I mentioned above. The resonator repair is sturdy and fully funtional. With cosmetic things wrong. I personally wouldn't replace it. The first picture is a split in the back of the resonator. It has been reinforced, (next picture), on the inside and should be no problem. The next, I was going to double bind the resonator. But once I discovered the split decided not to. There is a shallow void that would have been cut out with the binding channel in the rim of the resonator. The next is where lower co-rod holes were redrilled to the proper position after mismesuring. The neck was made for this banjo. Although after making it. I did test it on a parts banjo pot I put together. Then took it off. So I still consider it new.

I prefer PayPal and will take care of the fees.

Thank you for looking,
Phil
