STELLING STAGHORN BANJO Serial number 1477 Built in the late seventies (I think)
The craftsmanship and tonal qualities in this banjo are superb, with volume that will not be outdone. It has Schaller tuners, with Keith "D" tuners.
The banjo head has the signatures of Dr. Ralph Stanley, along with his son, Ralph Stanley II and his lead banjo picker, Steve Sparkman.
This instrument is in very good condition. There has been some fret wear over the years and only a few minor imperfections (tarnished armrest and tension hoop) I tried to show as many close-up photos as possible. The original case shows a little wear on the outside but still looks nice and is very serviceable.
No trades please, as I have more instruments than I currently need.
