------- I decided not to sell this. I really like this banjo and want to keep it as a backup for my Deering. I am only willing to accept trades now. I'm really looking for a sullivan festival or a wildwood. artist. If you have something to trade, anything at all, let me know. It doesnt hurt to ask -------------
I just bought a Deering Sierra so I'm trying to recoup some of the money I spent by selling my Recording King RK 82. It's a great sounding banjo and I would be keeping it if I didnt need the money. It has a Gary Sosebee bridge and has spikes installed at the 7th and 10th frets.
The only problem with this banjo is that there is a bit of wear in the gold plating on the tailpiece and armrest. This is from normal use and happens with all gold plating eventually. Check out the 6th photo Ive posted, it shows the plating on the arm rest and tailpiece and you can see what I mean. There are no scratches, cracks , or dings. If not for the wear in the gold plating it would be in mint condition.
It will come with the original Recording King case. The case does have some scratches on it from being taken in and out of the car every weekend for lessons.
Please note that there is no pinky wear on the head in the first two pictures because those were taken when I first got the banjo. The other pictures were taken about two weeks ago.
Feel free to ask any questions or if you have something in trade, it doesnt hurt to ask.
Thanks
John
