I just got a Sullivan Festival, and I love it, so I have two banjo's that I don't use anymore that are taking up space.
One is a Morgan Monroe Olympus made of walnut with a Sullivan bridge on it, and I put on a Kershner Tailpiece . I will send the original tailpiece with it.I got it in September of 07'. It has a very nice mellow sound to it, and is in great condition. It comes with a HSC.(Brand new is around $1,100)
The other is a Nechville "Northwoods" Midnight Storm, (this is Nechville's only import model banjo) made of maple with a Stelling bridge on it.I got this in November of 07'. It is nice in it's looks with the black head. This is also in mint condition. It has a very bright sound to it, and also comes with a HSC. I( had changed the Pegs on them, but I could not get the 5th on so I will send that with the banjo.)(Brand new is around $1,550)
Both are in mint condition and have basically no fret wear on them. I polish them everytime I put new strings on and put oil on the necks. ( I change strings every two weeks)
I am looking to either trade both for one equally good banjo or sell them, let me know what you have. Look at all these banjo's for sale...is anyone buys or do you want to make some trades ?
