I have a recently acquired Ventura brand tenor banjo; 19 fret model with hard case. From what I've been able to gather from some internet searching, it was probably made by Kasuga in Japan sometime in the 70s. It is a very nice quality banjo; solid components, flathead tonering, flange, planetary tuners, and what appears to be 4-5 ply rim. There's plenty of life left in the frets and everything is intact. I'm selling it because I've discovered that 17 fret necks are much easier on my hand and wrist.
I need to sell it; make me a reasonable offer and we'll talk. Thanks and best regards-
